I hate to keep changing my blog address but this was a must. Everytime I tried to access My One Crazy Wonderful Life, I was directed to some really disgusting sites. I don't want anyone to think I would post something like that or use such language so I am starting again. This time I will leave My One Crazy Wonderful Life open because I like some of the content.
I will email the followers I know about my new address and will post it on my other blog so I hope those of you I don't know will move over.
Above is the picture of my dog Chai for whom this blog is named.
So remember, now, "the most wasted of all days is one without laughter" - ee cummings.
I had a wonderful lunch and visit with a friend at this great neighborhood market and pub this week. One of the things I like about Bend is the little neighborhood markets and restaurants you can find when you just wander neighborhoods. The Riverside is one of the places I frequented during my high school and college days when I road my bike all over in the downtown area where my parents lived. It wasn't a pub then.
I shared a table with Honey who was kickin' it in the shade while her daddy played Cornhole. A great old game played with bags filled with corn that you throw toward a board with a hole in it. The board has a grade to it. This is kind of like shuffleboard.
Here is the board on the far end, and here is the nearer board.
There is a score-keeping system but I didn't get a picture of this scoreboard or pole.
There is a lawn and chairs everywhere, plus bikes for little ones to ride around. It is a fun spot and very popular. People are lined up around the block on busier days. I had three tacos and homemade salsa. It was Taco Tuesday. Madelle had a to die for grilled chicken salad.
